Parent Network Workshops Announced

Parent Network of WNY Family Support and Advocacy Program.

Parent Network of WNY helps families of individuals with disabilities by educating, connecting and empowering them in various ways. Participants in the Family Support and Advocacy Program will receive ongoing support to meet their needs. This program is for individuals with developmental disabilities who receive services from the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and live with family members and serves Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany Counties.

Individual Support

Our Family Support Specialists will directly work with families in building skills, finding resources, preparing for meetings, providing education and much more. The goal is to help families be more confident and better understand the world of developmental disabilities. These specialists can assist via phone, text, email and face to face.

Group Support

Group Support includes small meet-ups (in the community and online) allowing families to meet, share experiences, ask questions and learn more to meet their needs. The program also will host special events for families of individuals with developmental disabilities. Sign up to receive our newsletters and be the first to know when these events will be held.
